About char280
char280 is a Chrome extension that enables Twitter users to post tweets up to 280 characters, extending beyond the original 140-character limit by altering Twitter's front-end settings. Note that as of late 2017, Twitter patched this functionality server-side, rendering the extension non-functional on Twitter's main platform, though it may still work in Tweetdeck until further patched. The extension is not endorsed by Twitter and was built by Thomas Evans.
