MoMAR

MoMAR is a non-profit, unauthorized augmented reality gallery concept aimed at democratizing physical exhibition spaces, museums, and art curation. It overlays alternate artworks onto existing artworks and frames in museums and gallery spaces worldwide, currently taking over the entire MoMA building including the Sculpture Garden. The MoMAR app allows visitors to view these augmented exhibits by holding their phones within the museum space. MoMAR operates independently without privatized structures, promoting open access to art.
