Singer

Singer is a simple, composable, open-source ETL standard that powers data extraction and consolidation for organizational tools. It uses JSON-based communication between data extraction scripts called "taps" and data loading scripts called "targets", allowing flexible combinations to move data between various sources and destinations such as databases, web APIs, files, and queues. Singer taps and targets are Unix-inspired, communicate via JSON, support JSON Schema, and enable efficient incremental extraction by maintaining state between runs.
